What makes Wyncote Special?

Since 1973, Wyncote Academy has provided a college preparatory education to students who, for a variety of reasons, have not been able to realize their full learning potential. The typical Wyncote student, though of average or above average intelligence, may have experienced some difficulty or discomfort in previous educational settings.

Wyncote has experienced remarkable success in teaching and inspiring children with:

  • ADHD
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Dyslexia
  • Domestic Difficulties
  • General issues associated with “troubled teens”

At Wyncote, students receive the support of our caring and talented staff who help foster in each young person the desire for achievement and the development of positive relationships with staff and peers.

We pride ourselves on our flexibility and creativity, and respond to the strengths and needs of each student through a variety of unique educational programs and classes such as art and music.

Wyncote Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to the rights, privileges, programs and activities available to students at the school. Wyncote Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of their education policies, admission policies, financial aid programs, athletic programs, or other school administered programs.
